How about that Letterman-Oprah-Leno Super Bowl commercial?

(HMG) – Late night show supposed enemies David Letterman and Jay Leno, got together to share football and chips in an ad for CBS’ Late Show that aired during the second quarter Sunday night. Letterman, who thought up the idea, reprised his 2007 Super Bowl ad with Oprah Winfrey for this year’s game, with the addition of Leno sitting beside them. The commercial itself is brief, and not all that funny IMHO, but the idea of these two sitting together watching the Super Bowl was a good psych moment for viewers.  They filmed the spot in complete secrecy last Tuesday, and Leno even wore a fake mustache to disguise himself when he arrived in New York. Oprah confirmed that there was no CGI magic, and that Dave and Jay filmed the ad on Tuesday with the daytime queen at Letterman’s Ed Sullivan Theater in New York, via a Twitter.
