Dr. Conrad Murray‘s lawyer Ed Chernoff spoke out Monday afternoon, a short time after his client was booked on involuntary manslaughter charges related to Michael Jackson‘s death. During a press conference, Chernoff told the assembled press, “This has been a nightmare for him for many different reasons, and one of the reasons is that he lost a friend, and I’m sure he’ll speak to that when the time comes.” He also cautioned the crowd to not jump to any conclusions until all the facts were presented. Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges related to the King of Pop’s death last summer.
