(HMG) – I know Courtney Love has her fans, but there are also a lot of people that don’t appreciate how she has guarded the legacy of the late great Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Part of that legacy is their daughter Frances Bean Cobain and Courtney’s influence in raising her has come under even greater scrutiny after guardianship of the 17-year-old child was abruptly awarded to Cobain’s mother last week. Since then Courtney has gotten onto Facebook to denounce and criticize her daughter saying in part: “I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this s— has lost her position.”
Facebook and the like might be all the contact Courtney has with Frances for a while as a restraining order has been reportedly issued. According to TMZ, the restraining order means Courtney cannot have any direct contact with her daughter, which was signed under seal and is currently temporary. Meanwhile Kurt Cobain’s uncle Charles Fradenburg, claims Courtney Love has been an unfit parent for years, and the plan to take custody of Frances has been years in the making. Fradenburg tells us, “Courtney is not fit to take care of Frances, she can barely take care of herself … Courtney wasn’t doing any parenting at all, she was hiring nannies to do all of the work.”
