Heroes star Zachary Quinto may play a villain on TV, but he is out to save a nearly endangered species……the arcades?

That’s right.

Zachary, most recently seen as Spok in the new Star Trek movie, was at the Video west Arcade to help launch “Save The Arcades” on Wednesday in Glendale. Apparently, many arcades across America are closing down and our “Hero” Zachary, with help from Stride gum, is the spokesperson for this campaign.

Interesting.

The 2 hour season premiere of Heroes airs September 21st.
