When Keven Federline arrived at a sports day on Monday, people couldn’t stop staring. But it wasn’t the fame of his 33-month marriage to Britney that caused all  the attention, it was Kevin’s alarming new size.

The 31-year old singer was under some serious scrutiny last Summer when he packed on the pounds, but this year’s new profile must set some kind of record?

Since he and Brit ended back in 2007 Kev’s been keeping quite busy, taking care of sons Preston and Jayden James. So he might have some reasons for not working out. But some folks are saying the bulging new belly is K-Fed’s next effort to prolong his fame:

The buzz at the ‘Celebrity Skins Classic’ in Coto de Caza, CA, where he debuted his new shape was not about how he got so much larger, but how he plans to grab a new fifteen-minutes – and some serious cash – by just getting thin.

There is a well-founded rumor among those in the know that K-Fed has been in talks for some months to star in a reality show based on weight-loss. The man himself isn’t talking, but one source told US Magazine that’s his style, “He’s not hurting for money, but he’s not going to kill anything by talking about it before he’s sure it’s going to happen.”

So when you look at it that way, the dude’s in great shape. Great shape to get rich.
