Although their relationship reportedly got off to a somewhat scandalous start, when Ryan Phillippe was still married to Reese Witherspoon, Ryan and girlfriend Abbie Cornish emerged as quite the wholesome, happy couple when they hit the Nowhere party in Cannes this weekend. The couple looked tan and fresh, with Abbie sporting little makeup and Ryan looking casual in a black t-shirt.

As the couple hits the French Riviera to see if Abbie’s film Bright Star will nab the Palme d’Or, they have some tough competition from other hot couples, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon and Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt, who have also been hitting the festival arm in arm.
